What About Bob... Bob Stark, GRI, CBR, SRES, GREEN

So who exactly is Bob Stark? I'm a licensed Broker Associate with Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, and I have enjoyed helping clients in the Long Island area for the last 15 years. Working in the business for these many years has allowed me to help, teach, and lead customers and clients through the steps of selling, leasing, or buying residential and commercial real estate.

My Experience:

I have been a full time experienced Associate Broker for the last 15 years. While I currently live in Freeport NY, I have moved from Long Beach and grew up in Brooklyn. I obtained a BA Economics Degree in 1983 from Brooklyn College, and in 1988 I received a Masters in Fire Science from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I am retired from the FDNY, and have also worked for the NYPD. I specialize in residential waterfront and beachfront communities including Co-ops, Condos and Townhouses. I also specialize in the buying, selling, and leasing of commercial property.

My Accomplishments:

In 2010, I was awarded the National Association of Realtors Green Designation, the only green real estate professional designation recognized by the NAR. I also achieved this prestigious designation after completing 18 hours of course work designed specifically for REALTORS. These courses were created by experts around the country in order to ensure that designees gain a comprehensive knowledge of green homes and buildings, and issues of sustainability in relation to the real estate industry.

I also completed the required education in order to receive the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. This designation focuses on educating REALTORS on how to properly serve buyers and sellers who are over fifty years old. This designation teaches you how to use an expertise of networks such as CPA's, estate planners, lawyers, clutter and staging experts, as well as community resources and services. These accomplishments have made me a trusted source for all of your real estate needs.

In 2011, I was awarded the LICN-Long Island Commercial Broker of the Year from the Long Island Board of Realtors for outstanding service and was picked to be the 2012 President of the LICN Chapter.
